In the style of plainsong, the Mass in Honor of St. Ignatius can be sung unaccompanied or with organ. This simple,
chant-style setting of the Revised Order of Mass named after Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus
employs simple melodic motifs that repeat throughout making it both appealing and singable. The choral parts
embellish the piece lending a contemporary effect to the monodic melody.
