This bundle includes:

Programmatic in nature, it is through-composed and consist of four distinct sections: “Rio Grande,” “Round Up,” “Wagon Train” and “Fiesta.”

It is written to evoke the history and images of indigenous culture in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The score uses standard concert band instrumentation and includes English horn, separate cornet and trumpet parts, four trombone, and added percussion instruments to produce the “Western sounds.

The score is notated in concert pitch, but the parts are transposed. Parts are available for D-flat piccolo, E-flat horn, and baritone treble clef.

The piece is approximately nine minutes in duration.
