This bundle includes:

Rocky Point Holiday is a showcase for the concert band. It was one of the earliest works to expand the coloristic use of the percussion family.

The score requires as many as ten percussionists, including a significant celesta/piano part. The marimba writing is particularly extensive and virtuosic. Harp adds to the coloristic nature of the music and should be included even if synthesized.

A challenge for the conductor will be to maintain a dynamic balance between the percussion and the full ensemble while clearly hearing individual percussive colors and motives.
