This bundle includes:

Pastime, subtitled “A Salute to Baseball,” is based upon the well-known tune, Take Me Out to the Ballgame. The work is dedicated to avid baseball fan and band conductor legend, Frank Battisti.

The work is loosely woven around two musical phrases of the classic song: “Take me out to the ballgame,” and “Buy me some peanuts and Crackerjacks.”

The work, written for the Santa Clara County Band Directors Association (near San Francisco), pays homage to the 1962 San Francisco Giants.

Written during the fabulous 1998 baseball season, this work also pays homage to that great homerun race.
