Description:
This piece began as a double choir piece with organ and various instruments which was then arranged to make it accessible for church choir. It was commissioned for a Lessons and Carols liturgy in 2009 and can be sung in Korean or English with the provided paraphrase. The text speaks of reconciliation and unity with each verse making use of a different set of voices, ending with the full choir and congregation singing together. The oboe part emphasizes tis feeling of longing and desire.
