Description:

This gentle, introspective piece makes a beautiful meditation for any choir. The text was inspired by a poem by an English Quaker called “On Morning Worship.” The changing meters naturally follow the speech rhythm of the words. The mostly two- and three-part writing—with a few measures of SATB—make the piece good for smaller choirs. The piano accompaniment provides the “flowing” nature needed in performance.
