Each unit in the leader's book contains an "Overview" with background information; "Outcomes" to assist in planning; a "Getting Started" section with ideas for introducing the unit theme to students; a modern "Story" based on the unit theme; sample questions for "Sharing" after the story; three or more individual or group activities; reproduceable pages; a Scripture reading based on the unit theme; a group prayer; a song relating to the unit theme (found on the CD, with notation in the book); and a suggested "Action" for a personal response by each child to the unit theme.
