Description:

"Delightfully fresh” best describes this arrangement of the well-known French carol.
While the melody is intact, with the exception of a few well-placed syncopations, it is all scored for solo or sopranos over the choir on sustained chords and a rolling, driving eighth-note accompaniment. A well-developed series of instrumental and vocal modulations leads to a vibrant final stanza.
