This bundle includes:

This original composition for young band explores American folk style with the use of pentatonic melodies and traditional folk song harmonies. It is written in two sections with a short coda.

The A section is a largo tempo chorale, and the B section is a lively dance reminiscent of Copland’s Hoedown.

The coda effectively ends the piece with a brief recapitulation of both themes.

It is three minutes and fifteen seconds in length, and of medium difficulty level (grade two in the Texas UIL list).
