Tune Name: Christe sanctorum

Music Source: Paris Antiphoner, 1681

Series: Choral

Difficulty Level: M

Description:

A majestic setting of a glorious Eastertide hymn! Though reasonably easy, there are some challenges for sopranos and tenors. Starting in unison, the trebles soon take the tune as tenors and basses harmonize; a third verse builds from unison men to SATB, then a powerful rendering ends the piece. Organists: Consider using the intro and accompaniment for congregational singing even without a choir!
