Wine, Thomas R.

Dr. Thomas R. Wine is Professor of Music Education and Director of Choral Music at Wichita State University. He earned his PhD at Florida State University, his Master of Music Education at Duquesne University, and his Bachelor of Science at Alderson-Broaddus College. He is former instructor of music education at the University of Alabama and Tallahassee Community College, and was also Director of Choral Activities at Spartanburg High School (SC).

He is a frequent clinician and adjudicator of district and state choral festivals, and a presenter for both state and national music education conferences. His articles have appeared in the Choral Journal, Contributions to Music Education, and Kansas Music Review. He has been a contributor to the Strategies for Teaching series and the Music Makes the Difference text published by MENC. He is past president of the Kansas Choral Directors Association. He directs the Chancel Choir at Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
