Roberto L. Burton

Presently Burton serves as the Minister of Music at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Harvest ,AL; composer in residence at the Madison Mission SDA Church in Madison, AL , and The Band Director @ Oakwood University, a staff organist at Oakwood University Church, and a bass guitarist at Redstone Arsenal.

As a producer, musician & engineer he has worked with such artists like, Wintley Phipps, Nolan Williams, Asaf Alexander Ward, Jimane Nelson, John Stoddart, David Gillard, Dr. Cedric Dent from Take 6, (www.take6.com) John Stoddart, Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole, Men of Standard, and a host of other Rap and R&B and gospel artists. He now manages Committed; (www.myspace.com/committed6music) a sextet based in Huntsville, AL.

As a composer, publisher & arranger, Scubed Publishing BMI in its 12th year of existence now serves, Johnson HS, Lee HS, Grissom HS, and many other high school instrumental programs throughout the U.S., playing many of his marching band & concert band arrangements. Recently he created and orchestrated arrangements for the first ever John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. “Joyful Sound” Gospel concert with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. and many other churches with orchestral programs in their music ministry.
