Kalemba, Keith S.

Keith Kalemba is a music editor for the World Library Division of GIA. Keith’s first experience with Catholic music ministry was as choir director for the Temple University Newman Center where he also had the privilege of being a delegate to the 1994 World Youth Day celebration in Rome. He is currently on the music staff of St. John of the Cross in Western Springs, Illinois. Formerly, he was on the music staff of Ascension Church in Oak Park. He also serves on the faculty of the Liturgical Music Institute in Huntington, New York.

Keith earned both his Bachelor of Music in Composition and Master of Music in Composition at Temple University and has also studied audio engineering and computer music as a graduate fellow. He joined the editorial staff of World Library Publications in 2001. He has presented workshops at several national conventions.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Keith enjoys lighthouses, salt air, and a good New York slice. He is the father of three. He spends his free time bicycling, researching his (and others’) Polish ancestry, composing, and playing percussion with the Oak Park River Forest Symphony.
