Damian Price

Damian DeMond Price, (Composer, Director, and Pianist) is a native of Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of the nationally acclaimed High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas.

Price is currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. He has attended Texas Southern University and Navarro College, Corsicana, Texas.

Price's music accomplishments include recording his own live CD "God Meant it for My Good" featuring the Houston Mass Choir (GMWA), the group Praise, and the Covenant Glen United Methodist Church Voices of Praise. It was released early 2005. Price has also been nominated Male Vocalist of the Year by the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards.

He has a Songbook of Children's Music—"Clap Your Hands" featuring songs presented at the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., and the Heritage Music Foundation, Inc. He also presented and performed compositions with the Texas Mass Adult and Children's Choirs, the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses (NCGCC) Mass, Alumni Chorale and Youth and Young Adult Mass Choirs. He is also a member of the Houston Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc.

Price currently serves as Executive Board Member and National Youth Director for the Heritage Music Foundation Inc., founded by Dr. Margaret Pleasant Douroux whose goal is to build a gospel house and preserve gospel music.
