Composer, choral leader, and pianist Casper Christensen was born in Denmark in 1987 and moved to the UK in 2006 to study music in London, where he currently resides.

With a background in jazz piano, Casper’s compositions draw on elements from the English choral tradition, the colourful harmony of American jazz, and the folk tunes of Scandinavia.

Casper is the Director of Music at South Hampstead Junior School in North London and conducts the SHJS Chamber Choir, to whom October Twilight is dedicated.
