Brook Carter Larson is the Artistic Director of the Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix.  Under his direction Orpheus has grown in size and stature, and has been recognized for its musicianship and community outreach.  Furthermore, he has worked successfully with the choir’s Board of Directors to expand the operating budget and heighten public awareness of the ensemble.  Before joining Orpheus, Dr. Larson served on the Choral Music Education faculty at Arizona State University where he taught education courses, mentored student teachers, and coordinated field experiences.  He also founded and conducted the ASU Men’s Chorus and Sun Devil Singers.  Larson holds degrees from Arizona State University, Bowling Green (OH), and Moorhead State (MN).
