Zander Fick (b. 1991) started playing the violin at age five, completing the UNISA syllabus at age sixteen. He began classical piano training in 2007, completing the UNISA syllabus in 2009, and received classical singing training under professor Ria Nel from 2007-2009.
Zander has been a choir singer since 2001 and has been a Horizons Project Choir Member and composer since 2014. He has performed various piano and violin works with a variety of orchestras both as a member and a soloist. Zander has, to date, written 113 acapella choral arrangements for various universities and ensembles. He has composed for solo instruments, instrumental ensembles, and choirs.
Zander studied Chemical Engineering and currently works as a Financial Portfolio Manager and Advisor.
