This new document published by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops was approved by the USCCB in November of 2007. These guidelines are designed to provide direction to those preparing for the celebration of the sacred liturgy according to the current liturgical books (in the ordinary form of celebration). The document was developed by the music subcommittee of the Committee on Divine Worship of the USCCB and is a must-read for every pastoral musician ministering in the Roman Catholic Church.
