The Lord Be Gracious unto Us
by Joel Vanderzee
A substantial choral interpretation of Psalm 67 that is, nonetheless, accessible for the church choir. ABA form with a contrasting middle section that proclaims, “Let the peoples praise you.” The final section goes on to end quietly. The independent piano accompaniment lays down a simple rhythmic pattern that expressively moves the piece forward.
