This new collection by Marty Haugen features psalms, biblical canticles, and a new setting of the Te Deum for use in the jubilee year! Part of Marty's Soli Deo Gloria series, Come, Let Us Sing for Joy offers a wealth of liturgical resources for the Church in this millennium year and beyond!
Recommended for popular use in the United States throughout the Jubilee, "Te Deum: You Are God" was commissioned by the National Catholic Conference of Bishops Subcommittee on the Third Millennium. Written in a call-and-response form, this setting makes the most of assembly participation, and it also offers a Spanish translation by Jaime Cortez.
Several other psalms and canticles featured in this collection are included as part of a morning prayer setting commissioned by Luther College in Iowa in honor of music professor Weston Noble.
