by TaizéA Taizé video documenting the visit of Pope John Paul II to Taizé in October of 1986. This was the Pope's third visit to Taizé, but only his first as Pope. Because of inclement weather the helicopter originally scheduled to bring the Pope to Taizé was grounded. Nonetheless, he insisted on visiting the community and was brought the long distance by automobile.
Brothers from fraternaties around the world returned to Taizé for this historic occasion which has been wonderfully captured on video tape by Journey Communications.
