Alice Parker might answer, "Here! through singing together, by joining our voices in praising God!" Take Me to the Water is a collection of thirteen arrangements of mid-nineteenth century African-American spirituals. This music rings loud and clear with Alice Parker's well-known love for the sound of a cappella spirituals.
