There is a long-standing tradition of creating developed choral arrangements of simple spirituals. Hardly a high school, college, or church choir exists that doesn't include examples within their repertoire. Which all leads us to say that this compilation is worth a place among the best of them. Great choral writing with a piano part that is equally challenging and rewarding.
