GIA Multicultural Hymnals
Oramos Cantando/
We Pray in Song
Beyond its beautiful cover Oramos Cantando/We Pray in Song contains 86 of the most glorious hymns, psalms, and songs translated from Spanish to English and English to Spanish. Virtually everything has been translated to make this hymnal truly the most comprehensive bilingual resource available today. This soft cover edition is merely a prelude to the complete hardcover hymnal due to be published in late 2006. GIA’s mission for this forthcoming hymnal is to create a resource that will be an exhaustive worship aid for either Latino communities or Anglo communities and can also serve as a common hymnal for combined celebrations. Sound the Bamboo
GIA is now the proud American publisher of Sound the Bamboo, a hymnal of world music compiled specifically for Asian Christians. An updated version of the 2000 Christian Conference of Asia hymnal, this revised version is filled with indigenous Asian hymns, songs, and ritual music from over 20 different countries representing 40 Asian languages. The majority of the book’s contents come from “grass roots” churches; many of the selections were transcribed in cities and small villages all over the Asian region. Learn More
