Gather Comprehensive – Second Edition more info
Assembled with the help of over 100 surveyed pastoral musicians, Gather Comprehensive–Second Edition is a complete hymnal and service book in the fullest sense of the terms. This hymnal offers 576 songs and hymns, as well as musical settings for the entire 3-year cycle of Lectionary psalms by Michel Guimont for Sundays and solemnities. It also contains more music for the rites than the original edition and over 200 pieces of service music for the Eucharist, including ten complete mass settings.
Ritual Song more info
This hymnal was developed in response to the often-heard request "Please combine the best of Worship and the best of Gather into one hymnal." RitualSong gives a full treatment to the rites of the Church and offers a wonderful selection of service music selections and mass settings. The musical style mix is also balanced with about 50% of the material written in a classical style and 50% in the folk or contemporary style. While most of the selections are indeed drawn from Worship and Gather, material from additional sources is included as well.
Catholic Community Hymnal more info
Catholic Community Hymnal is designed for the smaller mainstream parish. The repertoire comprises the most widely used and most popular hymns and songs from both the classical and popular/folk styles.
Worship – Third Edition more info
The preeminent GIA hymnal containing music in a classical style. Most all the music in this book is intended to be accompanied on the organ. Containing time-honored favorites along with contemporary tunes and texts, this book will certainly satisfy any parish's need for classic repertoire.
Gather – Second Edition more info
The most broad-based book of its kind, Gather–Second Edition contains music written in the "folk" or popular style and intended for accompaniment on guitar and/or piano. When used in combination with Worship–Third Edition, these two books offer the Catholic parish a wonderful number of choices!
