Any and every handbell choir can use these wonderful collections by arranger Philip L. Roberts! Each hymn is set in multiple ways, providing an ideal hymn setting for every ensemble from beginners to experienced ringers. The first setting is written for 2 octaves.
One or more additional settings follow and are arranged for 3, 4, or 5 octave choirs. Every setting can be rung to accompany congregational singing, thus allowing different settings to be rung with different verses. Played in sequence, the settings for each hymn can create an anthem. Roberts also provides transitional music to create suites of two or more hymns. An index of performable suites is provided. The creative possibilities are limited only to your imagination. Whether your bell choir is still in the growing stages or is a fully developed performing ensemble, these unique books hold challenging, flexible music for all.
