Four Masses for Cantor, Assembly, and Organ
The popular settings Missa Emmanuel, Corpus Christi Mass, and Paschal Mass by Richard Proulx now have organ accompaniments! These masses were originally introduced as settings for assembly surrounded by SATB choral "halos," sung unaccompanied. A fourth setting, Te Deum Mass, based on the Ambrosian Chant, is also included in this new collection.
All four mass settings were designed for "instant" participation in call and response form. This new edition makes them more accessible: a cantor sings the choir part and the assembly is supported by the new accompaniments!
