Another spectacular musical by Marty Haugen!
The Feast of Life
Stories from the Gospel of Luke
Marty Haugen with Gary Daigle
Debuted at the 2000 Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, The Feast of Life reminds us of the fourteen banquets mentioned in Luke's Gospel and invites us once again to hear and experience the stories of Jesus. In this new musical by Marty Haugen, a diverse group of adults and children gather around a banquet table to retell the parables in Luke's Gospel. The group tells and sings of "The Good Samaritan," "The Prodigal Son," "The Journey to Emmaus," and other parables, as well as the birth and the Passion of Jesus.

Enjoy The Feast of Life on video or DVD!
Looking for a project for the youth of your parish? This taping of Marty Haugen's The Feast of Life shows what can happen when the potential of teens is unlocked and brought to the forefront of the community! The talented students of Benilde-St. Margaret High School near Minneapolis tell the stories of Luke with spirit and song in this new production now available on video tape or DVD! These students, who are also featured on the recordings in the Give Your Gifts series, originally presented this production of The Feast of Life to a very enthusiastic crowd at their own high school and then at the 2001 National Catholic Educators Association Convention (NCEA) in Milwaukee! The DVD also includes conversations with the teens about faith and attitudes toward ministry in the Church, plus special commentary tracks by Marty and the director.
