Fr. Tom Lawler, SJ, is the Vocation Director for the Jesuits (Society of Jesus) in the upper Midwest USA. He is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was ordained a priest in 1999. He trained in social work and counseling in Chicago, then served as assistant director of the Sioux Spiritual Center, a Jesuit retreat center and ministry training program for Native American Catholics in South Dakota. Along with vocation ministry, Fr. Tom offers weekend retreats for adults and students based on the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola.
