Anthony Reeves has extensive experience as a conductor and teacher. A frequent guest conductor and clinician, he previously taught at Hamilton College, worked as a church musician, and taught middle and high school. His degrees are from the University of Arizona (DMA), Southern Methodist University (MM and MSM), and the University of North Carolina (BA). At the University of Arizona, Reeves completed the doctor of musical arts degree in choral conducting and historical musicology.

Reeves?s article "The Use of French Latin for Choral Music" was the cover piece for the October 2001 issue of the Choral Journal. He was one of seven scholars invited to present a paper at the 2005 National Convention of the American Choral Directors Association.
