Oddwalk Ministries exists to help young and old alike embrace life as Eucharistic people through fun, upbeat and interactive music, and witnessing. We share a message of community, participation, and mission with every group.
We would love the opportunity to share the Gospel in our unique way with the people of your diocese, parish, school, group, or organization. We have presented in a variety of venues and settings (Catholic, Christian, and secular; ten people to many thousands) and are ready to be a part of your next rally, convention, mission, prayer service, concert, or retreat.
Oddwalk has performed in front of thousands of teenagers and adults in such venues as NCYC and NCCYM comedy clubs, WYD catechetical sessions, and several diocesan events. 2008 marked our first appearances at the Youth Day of the L.A. Religious Education Congress and at the NCEA Convention. Oddwalk has performed in parish settings, helped lead retreats and prayer, and has made countless other appearances in a variety of venues.
Our first CD with GIA, music for prayer and liturgy titled “Walk Away Different” was released in November of 2007, and many Oddwalk songs are now published - several in GIA’s new contemporary hymnal, “Cross Generation.” A CD of fun and silly songs of faith is due in late 2009.

Workshops
Cathechesis in an Entertaining Way - Other
Many forget that the simple act of sharing stories and experiences can be truly enjoyable and through a process known as Theological Reflection our experiences are a necessary window into aspects of our faith—particularly the sacraments. This workshop will engaged those gathered in their own stories and help us all grow in our faith.Confirmation (and other) Retreats - Sacred Music
Those gathered will learn what a retreat is and though song, story, interactive activities, art, and prayer explore who God is, who they are, and the relationship we all share as a Christian Community. Special emphasis may be given to the sacrament of Confirmation and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.Keynotes and Concerts - Other
When Oddwalk is featured at a conference or rally, that responsibility is taken very seriously. Working in conjunction with local parish, school, or diocesan staff, Oddwalk tailors its message of community, participation, and mission to the local theme and various needs of the community. Using engaging music and stories with themes such as Faith, Vocation, Eucharist, and Justice, Oddwalk tries to give to a group a sense of Christian mission and transformation.Powerlessness - Here I Am, Lord - Other
Those gathered will be led though music and story in a reflection of the presence of God and the submission of our will to God's - powerlessness. This elementary aspect of our faith and spirituality is hard to live, but we will engage those gathered in placing God's will at the center of their lives and faith expressions.Pray What You Mean! - Other
Those gathered will explore the revisions in the new English translation of the Roman Missal, including a brief history of the missal, changes from the current use to the future use, and explore what some people see as steps forward and steps backward. Does this new missal help us achieve the maxim "lex orandi, lex credendi" or not?Seldom Affirm, Never Deny, Always Distinguish - Other
The art of making distinctions is becoming more necessary in our faith, yet fewer seem capable of doing so. This maxim is still important today! Those gathered will play a game of "Take a Stand" on various Church issues of faith, morality, God, and liturgy. Fruitful discussion will bring us all to a deeper understanding of our faith and re-frame tensions in the Church not as conflict but as necessary to our spiritual life.Upcoming Events
