The North Texas Chamber Choir

The chamber choir is comprised of members of the University of North Texas A Cappella Choir and Texas Choral Artists, a professional chamber choir based in Dallas. The choir is led by Jerry McCoy, director of choral studies at UNT.
UNT has a long and distinguished history of preparing choral conductors for the challenges of the professional conductor/teacher. Many graduates have gone on to lead prestigious university programs; a number of professional, symphonic, and/or community-based choirs; and, perhaps most important, outstanding public school programs across Texas and the nation. UNT graduates hold important national and regional leadership positions in professional organizations, including the most prestigious position in ACDA and TMEA.
