Paul Melley is a talented singer, saxophonist, and composer. He currently serves as Director of Liturgical Music and Assistant Chaplain at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where he ministers as Director of the Chapel Choir as well as the Contemporary Ensemble, and oversees music used in liturgy and worship at the college. Paul is the coordinator for the RCIA group on campus and has also been a part-time faculty member at Boston College’s Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry for the last four years.

He has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe and is featured on a number of recordings from GIA Publications, Inc., and Oregon Catholic Press. Paul had the great honor of singing his own composition at the Vigil Liturgy attended by Pope John Paul II in Toronto, Canada, for World Youth Day 2002 for an audience of over half a million people.

Previously, he served as Assistant Director of Music and Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill, MA. Paul has his BA in Voice and Music Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is completing his work on a Masters of Theology with a concentration in Liturgy at Boston College.
