Cak Marshall
Marshall was the recipient of the PMEA Citation of Excellence, the highest honor bestowed by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association; served as Elementary Coordinator for PMEA News from 1984-2001; and was founding president of the Pittsburgh Golden Triangle Chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA).
Marshall has presented at numerous State Music Educator Association conferences. She has also appeared as clinician at national and division conferences of MENC; national conferences and chapter workshops of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA). She was also chosen as one of 100 music educators to perform at MENC with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in April 2006.
Marshall taught Level I at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and University of South Florida-Tampa in the summer of 2002, and at University of Florida-Gainesville in the summer of 2003. She is a published composer and enjoys composing, singing, and acting when not teaching or working at Peripole. She is also an active member of the Willamette Master Chorus in Salem (OR) and the early music mixed consort, Figs and Thistles.
