Jay Terrell

Terrell received an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Interfaith University in Sacred Music. He has had the honor of being the guest lead soloist for the Mutual of Omaha Gospel Choir. He is the founder and director of nationally renowned gospel groups Shekinah Gospel Singer, Jay Terrell and Higher Praise Gospel Singers, and Blackberry Record's Jay Terrell and Highly Favored.
His music ministry has spread from Tabernacle Baptist Church in Wichita , Kansas to "The Church Without Walls” in Houston, Texas, and currently Beulahland Bible Church in Macon, Georgia. Terrell has had the opportunity to have compositions recorded by the late Rev. James Cleveland and the L.A. Messengers, the late Donald Vail's Gospel Music Workshop of America Youth, Women, Men, and Mass Choirs.
