Denise La Giglia
Denise La Giglia is a pastoral musician and spiritual director. She has an MA in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in Chicago and a BA in music from Mundelein College, Illinois. She received a certificate in spiritual direction from the Institute for Spiritual Leadership in Chicago. Ms. La Giglia has also completed study at the Liturgy Institute of Chicago (a program of the Office for Divine Worship) and at the Women's Leadership Institute in Holland, Michigan.
Besides her freelance work, Denise coordinates a training program for spiritual directors through the Institute for Spiritual Leadership, teaches in their weekday program and is a part-time staff person. She is on the board of a Franciscan performing arts center called Chiesa Nuova. Publications include The Liturgical Flutist (GIA), Mystic Vista (GIA), Journey of the Sacred series (GIA), Window to Peace (WLP) and Holy Light (WLP).
Denise is married with five children and 9 grandchildren.
