Jeffrey Agrell is a former symphony musician and is currently horn professor at the University of Iowa. He has won awards as a writer and composer, and also teaches a course in improvisation for classical musicians. He frequently gives concerts, workshops, and presentations nationally and internationally, and has recorded three CDs of contemporary classical improvisation: Repercussions (horn and piano), Mosaic (with Duende: horn, cello, piano), and Sideshow Tim (horn, trumpet, tuba and Soundpainting conductor).
